ABOUT US

Space Sound Studios is based in Lahore, Pakistan and was contrived to embody the artistic vibrations that the celebrated cultural city is well known for. The studio was originally set up as a mixing and mastering facility for musicians and, more importantly, by musicians.

With international collaboration from Toronto and Singapore, Space Sound Studios has experienced professionals from across the globe involved in your projects.

Voice Overs

We have a number of voice over artists, with various accents. Browse our past projects for sample links. Good equipment and efficient miking techniques are always paramount to the process.

Tracking

The initial capture is paramount to the outcome of your final project. We have an array of equipment and will track your band with mics or midi and help you produce the best tones we have at our disposal. Have a look at our gear in the equipment section.

Production

With an extensive knowledge on different genres of music, we are confidant on arrangement, mixing and mastering services for artists of all backgrounds.

Sound Design

Live sound, foley (sound effects) and audio dubs necessitate a solid combination of equipment, miking techniques and post-production. Our engineers consolidate all these fields to give you optimal results.

Education

We provide music and production workshops with a focus on individual development for adults and children (more info @ www.soundheuristics.com)

Scoring

Audio and visual consolidation can make or break a movie. We provide film scoring for shorts, features and documentaries.

Rashid Ibrahim

Rashid Ibrahim

Rashid is a multi-instrumentalist, film composer and producer who divides his time between Lahore and Singapore. He is well experienced in recording vocals, drums and guitars for bands as well as performing with his own. His accolades include certifications from Audio Masterclass in the UK (Sound Engineering and Music Production) and Berklee School of Music (Blues Guitar).  

Rafae Rehman

Rafae Rehman

Rafae is a percussionist and audio engineer with extensive experience performing with and recording bands in the rock, indie and alternative genres. He enjoys both the creative and production process and has plenty of experience behind the mixing desk in both live and studio settings. Rafae specializes in recording drums and completed a music technology program at McGill University in Montreal, Canada

Zephyr Khambatta

Zephyr Khambatta

Zephyr is a mastering engineer based in Singapore. He has a BA (Hons) in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts and has been featured on MTV Asia and VH1 India. His foundations run deep including singing, rapping, drumming, songwriting, composing, arranging, mixing, mastering and music education programmes. He brings a knowledgeable and unbiased ear to mastering
